Nebraska Concealed Carry Permit application change

Per an update from the Nebraska State Patrol:

For legal and consistency purposes, there has been a change in what we need for CCW application materials.

Names on all CCW application documents must match. For example, if someone has a different name on their birth certificate or passport than on their driver’s license, they will need to provide certified documentation for proof of name change such as a marriage certificate, divorce decree, or a court order . This applies to all applicants, men and women. We see this a lot with women who have been married, so their birth certificate has a different last name than their driver’s license. This is fine of course, but we will now need that additional piece of documentation to tie the two names together.
