License plates say many things. What what your hobby is, (ISCUBA) What you do for a living, (IMINIT) I’m in IT, or Information Technology. Or even a political statement. While driving around Lincoln Nebraska, I saw a license plate 0GUNS. I am assuming it was a Zero and not the letter O here. And even if it was an O, maybe the Zero version was already taken, and OGUNS is close enough.
This person, gave up information about him or herself with only a license plate. Probably doesn’t own a gun, not carrying a gun, doesn’t like guns and would prefer all the guns magically get picked up with carts, pulled by unicorns. Maybe the last part was a stretch. With all the evil in world, I am still amazed people can think like this. Assuming their end goal was Zero Guns. No criminal worth his or her weight would ever turn in their guns. How did they expect this Zero Gun panacea to happen? Someone has to collect them all. You first.
More people were killed with hands and feet than rifles.
FBI statistics for 2012 show 678 people were murdered that year with “personal weapons” (hands, fists, and feet), 518 were killed with blunt objects (hammers would be in that group) while rifles (322) and shotguns (303) lagged behind.

The guns are not going anywhere you can accept it and take some personal responsibility on yourself to learn how to defend yourself with one or you can have a license plate protect you from evil. I’m pretty sure when the bad man comes, he won’t care whats on your license plate.
