Alaska – CCW Shooting Test

Alaska has no permit requirements to carry concealed.

For Reciprocity they have a permit you may obtain.

Successfully complete an approved handgun competency course within the 12 months prior to the application.

The NRA Personal Protection class does Qualify with some added items.
I could find no specific shooting test, but the legal requirement to reference “(4) physical competence with a handgun.”
References using the gun.
(c) The department may not require a certificate of competence submitted under this section to contain any specifically identifying information, including make, model, or serial number, of a handgun with which an applicant or permittee has demonstrated competence.

There are several shooting iterations in the NRA Personal Protection course so, it seems trainers can come up with there own shooting tests as long as it covers all the requirements Alaska has listed.
